1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Gestimator mobile application (“the app”), developed and provided by Ebena Agro Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the application.

2. Description of Service

Gestimator is a livestock gestation and breeding calendar management utility designed for farmers, vets, and agricultural businesses. It assists in calculating pregnancy due dates, tracking gestation progress, managing historical breeding records, registering sires, logging heat cycles, and exporting farm reports.

3. Data Storage & Ownership

We believe that you should have absolute control over your information. Accordingly, the app operates under a local-first architecture:

• · Local Storage: All animal profiles, breeding logs, heat history, and settings are saved locally on your device in an SQLite database.
• · No Server Backups: We do not operate proprietary cloud databases. If you lose your device, uninstall the app, or format your storage, all local data is permanently lost.
• · Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for executing manual backups (CSV/JSON exports) or enabling the optional Google Drive sync.

4. Google Drive Sync & Cloud Terms

The optional cloud sync feature (opt-in only) links with your personal Google account to back up and sync records. By enabling this, you acknowledge that connection is directly established between your app and Google Drive App Data folder. We have no visibility, control, or secondary access to this synced folder. Your use of cloud storage is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Medical and Professional Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Gestation periods, delivery countdowns, and cycle estimates in Gestimator are calculated using mathematical models based on general species-specific averages (e.g. 283 days for cattle, 114 days for pigs).

• ! Individual animal biology, breeding environment, dietary conditions, and breed types heavily influence actual pregnancy timelines.
• ! App calculations and milestones are for estimation and general record-keeping purposes only.
• ! They do NOT constitute veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified livestock breeding specialist for diagnosing pregnancy, treating reproductive anomalies, or handling delivery complications.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

All premium tiers, subscriptions, or digital in-app purchases are managed exclusively via the Google Play Store billing platform. By purchasing, you agree to Google Play's Terms of Service. Ebena Agro Limited does not store or process credit cards, bank accounts, or billing information. All refund requests, subscription renewals, or payment cancellations must be managed through your Google Play account settings.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ebena Agro Limited and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use Gestimator. This includes, without limitation, losses related to livestock breeding failure, miscalculated delivery dates, loss of animal life, veterinary bills, decreased farm yields, operational downtime, or loss of local app database records. The application is provided strictly on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

8. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

• · Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• · Distribute altered, cracked, or modified versions of the app APK outside of authorized app stores.
• · Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized activities in your jurisdiction.

9. Intellectual Property

All visual interfaces, source code, graphics, branding resources, app icons, and copyright-protected assets contained in the Gestimator mobile app are the exclusive intellectual property of Ebena Agro Limited (RC-1304637).

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree that any legal action or dispute arising out of or related to your use of Gestimator shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
