1. Introduction

Ebena Agro Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Feed Estimator mobile application handles your information. Feed Estimator is a livestock feed formulation tool that works entirely offline and does not require an account.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Feed Estimator stores all data locally in a SQLite database on your device. This includes:

Feed Formulations

  • · Feed names, ingredient compositions, and quantities
  • · Nutritional calculations (NRC 2012 standard): protein, energy, amino acids, phosphorus
  • · Cost calculations and formulation warnings

Custom Ingredients

  • · Names, proximate analysis, energy values, amino acid profiles (11 AAs)
  • · Pricing, inclusion limits, safety warnings, and notes

App Preferences

  • · Display settings, default animal types, unit preferences

We do not collect:

  • ✗ Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
  • ✗ Location data, device identifiers, or advertising IDs
  • ✗ Advertising profiles or behavior-based ad targeting
  • ✗ Contacts, photos, or browsing history

3. No Data Transmission

Feed Estimator core workflows operate offline. Formulations, ingredient records, and calculations remain local to your device. The app performs no cloud synchronisation of your formulation database.

If analytics is enabled, limited usage and stability signals may be transmitted to help us improve reliability and user experience. These events are not used to sell personal data.

4. Data Export

You can export your data at any time:

  • · PDF reports — professional ration summaries with full nutritional breakdown
  • · JSON backups — full data export for backup or migration
  • · JSON import — restore from a previous backup

All exports happen locally. Ebena Agro Ltd receives no copy of exported data.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have full rights over your data. Because everything stays on your device, you exercise these rights directly within the app:

Access

View all formulations and ingredients within the app anytime.

Correct

Edit any formulation, ingredient, or preference at any time.

Delete

Delete individual items or all data via Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data.

Export

Export as PDF or JSON. Import JSON backups at any time.

Withdraw consent

Via Settings → Privacy & Data → Data Collection Consent.

Remove completely

Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data from your device.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone:

  • ✗ Third-party companies or advertisers
  • ✗ Personal data sales or ad-targeting networks
  • ✗ Cloud storage providers
  • ✗ Government agencies (unless legally compelled)

If you explicitly share a PDF report or JSON export (via email or another app), that action is entirely under your control. If analytics is enabled, approved analytics providers may process limited technical event data.

7. App Permissions

Android

  • INTERNET — Used for optional analytics and app reliability improvements; formulation records remain local.
  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Used only when you explicitly export a PDF or JSON backup (required on Android < 10).

iOS

  • Files — For exporting PDF reports and JSON backups only.

All permissions are requested only when needed and with clear in-app explanations.

8. Children’s Privacy

Feed Estimator is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, you can clear all data via Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app gains new features. Significant changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
